App Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the presentAR app for Apple Vision Pro (visionOS, bundle ID de.loproducts.presentAR.pro). Visits to this website are covered by the website privacy policy.

presentAR is designed so that no personal data is transmitted to us or to third parties. The app has no backend of its own, no user account and no analytics, advertising or tracking services. Everything the app processes stays on your device.

To work properly and conveniently, the app stores the following data exclusively in its protected storage on your device:

• App settings: preferred hand, maximum texture size, GPU compression and the “don’t show tutorial again” option
• the most recently used start folders of the file dialog for models and lighting, and, if applicable, the path to a custom HDRI lighting file
• 3D models and lighting files (IBL/HDRI) you import, which the app caches temporarily for display

This data is not transmitted to us or to third parties. We have no access to it.

You select models and lighting files via the visionOS file dialog. The app only gains access to the files you explicitly select. If the files are stored with a storage or cloud provider (e.g. iCloud Drive, SMB or WebDAV servers), the transfer between that provider and your device is governed by the provider’s privacy terms. presentAR does not send any data to us in the process.

For interaction and for placing content in your space, presentAR uses the visionOS system features hand tracking and world sensing, subject to your permission. The app receives information prepared by visionOS, such as hand positions and detected surfaces, but no camera images. This information is processed only while you use the app and is neither stored nor transmitted.

You can revoke your permission at any time in the visionOS settings; interaction or placement will then no longer be available. The app does not use the camera, microphone or location.

presentAR contains no analytics, advertising or crash reporting services. The corresponding services of the Unity platform (Analytics, Cloud Diagnostics, Performance Reporting, Ads) are disabled. The app does not use an advertising identifier and does not track your activity across apps or websites of other companies.

As the app does not transmit any personal data to us, we do not pass any on to third parties.

Apple processes data under its own responsibility for downloads, installation and updates via the App Store. If you have agreed on your device to share analytics with app developers, Apple provides us with crash reports and usage statistics in App Store Connect that do not identify you personally. We use them solely to fix bugs and improve the app. You can turn this off at any time in the visionOS settings under “Privacy & Security” → “Analytics & Improvements”. Imported 3D models and lighting files are cached only temporarily and are deleted automatically when you quit the app. If the app closes unexpectedly, it clears the cache the next time it starts. Settings and the most recently used file paths are kept until you change them in the app or delete the app. When you delete the app, visionOS completely removes all locally stored app data.

Insofar as personal data is processed when using the app, this is done to provide the features you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Local storage on your device is strictly necessary for this purpose (Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG). The analysis of crash reports and statistics provided by Apple is based on our legitimate interest in a well-functioning app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Under the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. As the app does not transmit any data to us, we generally hold no data about you from the app. You can delete the locally stored data yourself at any time by deleting the app. For requests, simply email datenschutz@loproducts.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for us in Lower Saxony (LfD Niedersachsen).

The app is not directed at children under 13. It does not collect any data, including from children.

We will update this privacy policy if the app or the legal situation changes. The version published at this address applies.
